My name is Janice Aduhene and I am going into the twelfth grade at Cranbrook Schools, Michigan, USA. I started working at Child Accra in the summer of 2013 as an intern, hoping to gain the best thing anyone can gain, experience. I must say I gained much higher than my expectations. Working at Child Accra not only has fed me with experience but has given me a new found determination to work my way through the medical field. Seeing how each part of the clinic depends on another has given me a great insight on how to run a clinic successfully. Amongst other things, I have also learnt to satisfy a patient the best that you can. Observing and undertaking activities at the front desk has also shown me that patience and organization is key in whatever you do. Above all things, I have learnt from Child Accra that joy is the best kind of medicine you can offer to anyone. As I finish my high school education, I plan on doing Biology in Premed and with the inspiration I have received from here, I will carry on in the medical field and do great things.
