Rodney Armstead

MD, FACP

President & Chief Medical Officer

A board-certified general internist, Dr. Armstead graduated from the University of California, Irvine and earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is a Fellow, American College of Physicians and member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Armstead operated a healthcare consulting practice as a principal at Armstead & Esslinger. Previously, Dr. Armstead worked for UnitedHealth Group (UHG), the world’s largest healthcare company, in strategic leadership roles for UHG as President of the U.S. Northeast Region and as Executive Vice President for Optum, a healthcare infrastructure division serving over 80 million customers. In 1994, he served as Director, Office of Managed Care, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as an appointee in the Clinton Administration.

 

Lynda Aboagye

MBA

Director Of Operations & Ambulatory Services

Ms. Aboagye holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Morgan State University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Health Care Management and Enterprise Risk Management, from the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
Ms. Aboagye is LEAN, Six Sigma Certified to evaluate and implement efficient operational processes. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Ms. Aboagye managed several ambulatory practices at Johns Hopkins for the Department of Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Prior to serving at Johns Hopkins, Ms. Aboagye managed the underwriting and activation of member plans at Carefirst BlueCross/BlueShield, the largest health insurer in the US MidAtlantic region. Ms. Aboagye comes to LuccaHealth with extensive experience in data analytics, workforce development, and implementation of high quality customer service programs.

Asheri Masse

CRNA, Acting CNO

Acting Chief Nursing Officer, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

A certified nurse anesthetist, Ms. Masse is LuccHealth’s Acting Chief Nursing Officer. Ms. Masse earned her bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and her Master’s in Nursing from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Ms. Masse specializes in pre, intra and post-operative management of diverse patient populations for general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, vascular and cardio thoracic surgeries and trauma. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Ms. Masse worked at United States Anesthesia Partners in Houston, Texas. Before residing in Texas, Ms. Masse practiced in Connecticut at Anesthesia Associates of Southern Connecticut and Anesthesia Associates of New London.
